According to reports, NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) has adjusted its cloud computing business, DGX Cloud, customer expansion strategy, and weakened its focus on external customer acquisition. Informed sources revealed that NVIDIA Corporation plans to shift this cloud business more towards internal research purposes, such as designing new processors or developing artificial intelligence models. However, Alex Black Bjorlin, the executive in charge of the DGX Cloud business at NVIDIA Corporation, responded by saying, "Our external strategy has not changed." He stated, "Our internal research team needs a lot of computing power, as do all customers, so our strategy remains consistent." DGX Cloud was officially launched in March 2023, aiming to provide users with access to NVIDIA Corporation's high-performance GPU cluster. The service initially relied on Oracle Corporation (ORCL.US) cloud infrastructure deployment. According to NVIDIA Corporation's official website, DGX Cloud is a unified AI platform based on a leading cloud platform that can connect all AI workloads to optimized high-performance NVIDIA Corporation AI infrastructure, supporting the most demanding AI tasks from training large language models to large-scale serverless inference, through integrated software, managed services, and expert guidance to accelerate AI application development.
