SICHUAN EXPRESS (00107) announced that its holding subsidiary Chengdu Chengbei Export Expressway Co., Ltd. (in which the company holds 60% of the shares) has invested in the Chengdu Chengbei Export Expressway ("Chengbei Export Expressway"), which will reach the end of its toll period on September 17, 2025. According to the notice from the Sichuan Provincial Department of Transportation, starting from 24:00 on September 17, 2025, Chengbei Export Expressway will stop collecting tolls and all vehicles passing through this section will be exempt from toll fees.
The company will ensure the timely cessation of toll collection and will carry out related follow-up work in accordance with the unified deployment of the superior competent authority. The total toll revenue for the Chengbei Export Expressway in 2024 was 103.297 million yuan, accounting for a small proportion of the company's total toll revenue of 4.7771353 billion yuan in 2024. The expiration of the toll period will not have a significant impact on the company's performance. Investors are advised to pay attention to investment risks.
