Beijing Airport (00694) released its mid-year performance for 2025, with a total revenue of 2.755 billion yuan, an increase of 2.63% year-on-year; a post-tax loss of 164 million yuan, a decrease of 56.48% year-on-year; and a basic loss per share of 0.036 yuan.
The announcement stated that in the first half of 2025, benefited from the strong demand for passenger travel, Beijing Capital International Airport saw a stable growth in aviation traffic volume. International and Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan aviation traffic volume continued to maintain stable growth, while the domestic aviation market demand made a slight adjustment.
In the first half of 2025, the number of aircraft movements at Beijing Capital International Airport reached 217,305, an increase of approximately 2.8% compared to the same period last year. The cumulative passenger throughput reached 34,168,396, an increase of approximately 4.5%, and the cargo throughput reached 746,268 tons, an increase of approximately 5.9% compared to the same period last year.
In the first half of 2025, the company's total aviation revenue was 1.344 billion yuan, an increase of approximately 4.6% compared to the same period last year.
In the first half of 2025, the company's aircraft movements and related revenue totaled 689.412 million yuan, an increase of approximately 1.9% compared to the same period last year. This was mainly due to the relatively small change in demand in the domestic aviation market, and a reduction in the time aircraft spent at the airport, leading to a slightly lower growth in aircraft movements and related revenue compared to the increase in the number of aircraft movements during this period. Passenger service revenue was 655.098 million yuan, an increase of approximately 7.5% compared to the same period last year, mainly due to the growth in international passenger traffic. Additionally, international flight passenger service revenue is relatively higher than domestic flights, resulting in a higher growth rate in passenger service revenue compared to passenger throughput.
