APT ELECTRONICS (02551) announced its interim performance for the six months ending on June 30, 2025, with revenue of 1.13 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.9%; gross profit of 168 million yuan; profit attributable to shareholders of 11.232 million yuan; and basic earnings per share of 0.02 yuan. The announcement stated that during the reporting period, revenue from automotive intelligent visual products was 418.5 million yuan, a decrease of 9.3% year-on-year, mainly due to a decrease in the intelligent car lighting product business, specifically caused by intensified competition in the automotive industry in the first half of the year, leading to a decrease in the sales price of complete lamps and a decline in business revenue. However, revenue from the group's automotive-grade components and module products saw a significant increase in sales due to product competitiveness and an increase in mass-produced projects. At the same time, with the continuous mass production of ongoing projects, the automotive-grade components and module business entered a phase of sustained rapid growth. With the further development and designation of new clients and projects, the market share of the automotive-grade components and module business is expected to increase further. Revenue from new display products during the reporting period was 354.4 million yuan, an increase of 30.3% year-on-year, mainly due to the favorable application of large-sized TV backlight modules and MiniLED display technology. Additionally, the continuation of the national appliance subsidy policy led to a continuous increase in orders for the group's new display products, resulting in a significant year-on-year increase in sales. Revenue from high-end lighting products during the reporting period was 339.6 million yuan, an increase of 0.6% year-on-year. This was mainly due to intensified market competition in the high-end lighting product sector. On one hand, there was an increased demand for LED applications in new markets, and the company's focus on developing high-efficiency plant lighting products led to growth in the market share of high-end lighting products. On the other hand, due to a slight decrease in the price of white light general lighting SMD packaging, there was a slight decline in revenue, resulting in overall revenue remaining flat compared to the same period last year.
