COSCO SHIP INTL (00517) has released its mid-year financial performance for 2025, with revenue of HK$1.934 billion, an increase of 10.3% year-on-year. The profit attributable to equity holders of the company was HK$487 million, a year-on-year increase of 25.6%. Basic earnings per share were HK$0.3324, with a proposed interim dividend of HK$0.33 per share.
During the period, revenue increased compared to the previous year, mainly due to higher revenue from the coatings and maritime trade agency segments. The profit attributable to equity holders of the company also increased compared to the previous year, primarily due to increased revenue from the shipping services sector and the profit attributable to Cosco (Jotun) Ship Coatings (Hong Kong) Ltd, a joint venture, as well as an increase in net exchange gains.
