Carlyle Group Inc (CG.US) has agreed to acquire Intelliflo, a software company owned by Invesco (IVZ.US), for up to $200 million.

Carlyle Group Inc (CG.US) has agreed to acquire software developer Intelliflo, backed by Invesco (IVZ.US), for up to $200 million. According to the statement, the acquisition price consists of two parts: $135 million to be paid at the time of completion of the transaction, and potential future performance-based payments of up to $65 million.
The statement indicates that Intelliflo, based in London and founded in 2004, offers financial planning and management software platform used by over 30,000 professionals in approximately 2600 consulting firms.
As part of the transaction, Intelliflo's US subsidiary will be renamed RedBlack and operate as an independent entity, with a dedicated management team responsible for its operations.
It is understood that Invesco acquired Intelliflo from Hg in 2018, but the specific amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
