Jiantao's performance has risen again, as of the time of writing, Jiantao laminated board (01888) has increased by 7.24%, reaching 13.19 Hong Kong dollars; Jiantao Group (00148) has increased by 5.54%, reaching 29.36 Hong Kong dollars.
After the performance of Kingboard Holdings improved again, as of the time of writing, KB Laminates (01888) rose by 7.24% to HK$13.19, and Kingboard Holdings (00148) rose by 5.54% to HK$29.36. In terms of news, Kingboard Holdings announced its midterm results, with a turnover of approximately HK$21.608 billion, an increase of 6% year-on-year; a net profit of approximately HK$2.582 billion, an increase of 71% year-on-year; KB Laminates also released its midterm results, with a turnover of HK$9.588 billion, an increase of 11% year-on-year; and a net profit of HK$933 million, an increase of 28% year-on-year. In addition, CCL recently saw a wave of price increases, with KB Laminates issuing a price increase letter, and secondary manufacturers such as Hongrui Xing and Weilibang following suit. It is worth noting that Kingboard Holdings chairman Cheung Kwok Wing stated that with the rapid development of AI, the demand for emerging electronic products around the AI concept is strong, driving the growth in demand for the group's copper foil products and printed circuit board products. He mentioned that the group plans to establish an AI board production line in Kaiping, Guangdong, with an estimated investment of about 800 million to 1 billion RMB. He also indicated that related orders are saturated and the first half of next year is expected to be at full capacity, describing the situation as optimistic. Cheung Kwok Wing also stated that the group will no longer develop the real estate business in the future, intending to focus on core business, holding some projects for rent and selling some at a reduced price for cash flow.
