NIO's national network of battery exchange stations has basically taken shape and has entered a new phase of building and strengthening.

On August 16, 2025, Li Bin, the founder, chairman, and CEO of NIO, announced at the Power UP 2025 NIO Charging Day that NIO (09866) has established 8,167 charging and swapping stations nationwide, leading the industry in terms of the number of stations. The nationwide layout of NIO's charging and swapping station network has been basically formed, officially entering a new phase of fortified construction. On that day, the NIO swapping station located at Mount Everest in Dingri, Tibet, was officially launched and put into operation. This is the 15th swapping station layout by NIO on the G318 Sichuan-Tibet Highway. With the launch of the NIO swapping station at Mount Everest, the NIO G318 Sichuan-Tibet swapping route has officially connected. The route is 2950 km long, with an NIO swapping station every 200 km on average. Leveraging over 3,400 swapping stations nationwide, including more than 1,000 on highways, NIO and Le Palais de route users can swap stations all the way to Mount Everest.
