PLANETREE INT'L (00613) Announces Profit Growth, Expected Mid-term Profit Before Tax of Approximately HK$99.4 million.

Planetree International (00613) announced that the group is expected to achieve an unaudited comprehensive profit before tax of approximately HK$99.40 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025, compared to an unaudited comprehensive loss before tax of approximately HK$94.20 million for the six months ended June 30, 2024. The profit for the period is mainly due to the comprehensive impact of the following factors: (i) net unrealized gains on financial assets measured at fair value through profit or loss of approximately HK$33.70 million; (ii) fair value gain on equity investments of approximately HK$45.40 million; (iii) reversal of impairment losses on receivables from associated loans of approximately HK$36.50 million; (iv) share of profit from associates of approximately HK$39.20 million; (v) fair value loss on investment properties of approximately HK$67.00 million.
