LEGEND UPSTAR (00459) announced that despite the difficult market conditions in 2025, all major business segments of the group (including the property agency business (Meilien commercial shops), lending business, and property investment segment) have achieved profits in their operations. During the mid-term period, the operating performance of Meilien commercial shops has even shown slight improvement compared to the same period last year.
However, due to the revaluation loss of expected fair value of investment properties, the group expects to incur a net loss attributable to equity holders of approximately HK$35 million in the first half of 2025, compared to a net profit attributable to equity holders of approximately HK$9.5 million in the same period in 2024. This expected fair value loss is unrealized and non-cash in nature, and does not affect the group's cash flow.
