Ahsay Backup (08290) released its interim financial performance, with a net loss of 181,000 Hong Kong dollars, a year-on-year narrowing of 85.1%.
AsiaSat (08290) announces its performance for the six months ending on June 30, 2025, with a profit of HK$18.9 million.
Ahsay Backup (08290) released its performance for the six months ending on June 30, 2025, with a revenue of 18.9 million Hong Kong dollars, a decrease of 8.2% year-on-year; a net loss of 181,000 Hong Kong dollars, a decrease of 85.1% year-on-year; and a basic loss per share of 0.01 Hong Kong cents.
The decrease in losses during the period was mainly due to an increase in exchange gains from the appreciation of foreign currency bank balances; a reduction in market marketing and advertising expenses due to optimized market strategies; and a decrease in employee costs due to a decrease in the average number of employees. However, these gains were offset by a reduction in revenue from online backup services due to the overall weakness in the global economy and weaker demand for the company's services.
