The average daily trading volume of derivative warrants in the first seven months of 2025 was 7.5 billion Hong Kong dollars, an increase of 63% from 4.6 billion Hong Kong dollars in the same period last year.
The average daily trading volume of bull and bear certificates in the first seven months of 2025 was 9.6 billion Hong Kong dollars, an increase of 75% from 5.5 billion Hong Kong dollars in the same period last year.
The average daily trading volume of exchange-traded funds in the first seven months of 2025 was 33.3 billion Hong Kong dollars, an increase of 180% from 11.9 billion Hong Kong dollars in the same period last year.
The average daily trading volume of leveraged and inverse products in the first seven months of 2025 was 3.9 billion Hong Kong dollars, an increase of 70% from 2.3 billion Hong Kong dollars in the same period last year.
There were 53 new listed companies in the first seven months of 2025, a 33% increase from 40 in the same period last year.
The total amount raised in IPOs in the first seven months of 2025 was 127.9 billion Hong Kong dollars, a 611% increase from 18 billion Hong Kong dollars in the same period last year.

Derivatives Market:
The average daily trading volume of futures and options in the first seven months of 2025 was 1,671,497 contracts, an increase of 11% from 1,499,137 contracts in the same period last year.
The average daily trading volume of stock options in the first seven months of 2025 was 864,892 contracts, an increase of 27% from 680,980 contracts in the same period last year.
The average daily trading volume of stock futures in the first seven months of 2025 was 8,631 contracts, an increase of 8% from 8,017 contracts in the same period last year.
The average daily trading volume of RMB currency futures in the first seven months of 2025 was 112,429 contracts, an increase of 36% from 82,833 contracts in the same period last year.
