CHINA EB LTD (00165) announced that on August 4, 2025, the subscriber Everbright Absolute Return Fund (an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the company) submitted a redemption form to the trustee and fund manager of the Everbright Focus Income Fund. The subscriber intends to redeem 1.2637 million I-Class US Dollar units of the fund, representing approximately 50.25% of the total number of I-Class units of the fund as of the date of this announcement. The redemption is expected to be carried out in 7 batches in accordance with the terms of the fund documents.
The redemption price will be calculated by dividing the net asset value of the relevant class of assets of the fund at the valuation time on the trading day by the number of units of that class issued at that time, rounded to two decimal places. Based on the net asset value of the fund on the day prior to this announcement, the expected redemption amount will be approximately $17.123 million. After the redemption is completed, the subscriber will no longer hold any I-Class US Dollar units of the fund.
