SMOORE INTL (06969) rose over 5%, as of the press, up 5.23% to HK $22.15, with a turnover of HK $3.55 billion.
In terms of news, SMOORE INTL recently released a performance forecast, expecting to achieve revenue of 6.013 billion yuan in the first half of the year, an increase of 18% year-on-year; and a net profit of approximately 443 million to 541.4 million yuan for the period, a decrease of about 21% to 35% from the same period last year. Bank of America Securities believes that the group's performance is in line with the guidance of positive revenue growth and flat adjusted profits for the whole year, suggesting weaker revenue in the second half of the year;
Revenue growth mainly comes from the own-brand business and enterprise customer business, with the trend in the second quarter similar to the first quarter but profits are negatively affected, due to increased share-based payment expenses, sales of own-brand products in overseas markets, rising management expenses, and significant increase in legal expenses.
Sinolink pointed out that the company has "scarcity + certainty" and seized the opportunity for the development of the new tobacco industry. As the only listed company deeply involved in the overseas large tobacco group's atomization + HNB supply chain, against the background of the continued positive trend in regulation of atomized e-cigarettes in Europe and the United States, smooth progress in HNB business, and continuous contribution to performance from medical atomization and other new businesses, it has "scarcity + certainty", optimistic about the company's full benefit from the big opportunity of the development of the new tobacco industry in the future.
