The latest update shows that there are 29 gambling intermediaries, which is an increase of 4 compared to May this year. However, this number is only about 58% of the maximum limit of 50 gambling intermediaries that have been approved for operation.
The Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau of Macau announced that the Secretary for Economy and Finance of Macau set the annual limit for the number of gaming promoters for each licensed company in 2026 on Wednesday last week (9th). The total number for six companies is 50, remaining the same as this year and the same as last year. The number of gaming promoters for the six gaming companies also remains the same as last year. In addition, the latest update shows the number of gaming promoters reaching 29, which is 4 more than in May this year, but it only accounts for about 58% of the maximum limit of 50 gaming promoters that are allowed to operate. The number of gaming promoters for each licensed company is as follows: Venetian Macau Limited and Sands China Limited have 12 each; MGM Cotai and City of Dreams Macau have 8 each; Galaxy Entertainment Group and Wynn Macau have 5 each.
