There are 7 approved construction projects, which will provide a total residential building floor area of 80,640 square meters, involving 1420 units, and a non-residential building floor area of 34,679 square meters. In addition, the department also received commencement notices for the upper cover works of 11 building projects.

The residential building floor area is 22,041 square meters, with a total of 330 units; the non-residential building floor area is 35,352 square meters.
The total value of newly completed buildings in Hong Kong in May is approximately 3.2 billion Hong Kong dollars.
