National Bureau of Statistics: China's fixed asset investment in the first half of the year reached 24.8654 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.8%.
In the first half of 2025, the national fixed asset investment (excluding rural households) was 24.8654 trillion yuan, an increase of 2.8% year-on-year. Among them, private fixed asset investment decreased by 0.6% year-on-year.
On July 15, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in the first half of 2025, the total fixed asset investment in the country (excluding farmers) was 24.8654 trillion yuan, an increase of 2.8% year-on-year. Among them, private fixed asset investment decreased by 0.6% year-on-year. Excluding the impact of price factors, fixed asset investment (excluding farmers) increased by 5.3% year-on-year. Looking at a month-on-month basis, fixed asset investment (excluding farmers) in June decreased by 0.12%.
In terms of industries, the investment in the primary industry was 481.6 billion yuan, an increase of 6.5% year-on-year; the investment in the secondary industry was 88.294 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.2%; the investment in the tertiary industry was 155.543 trillion yuan, a decrease of 1.1%.
In the secondary industry, industrial investment increased by 10.3% year-on-year. Among them, mining industry investment increased by 3.4%, manufacturing industry investment increased by 7.5%, and electricity, heat, gas, and water production and supply industry investment increased by 22.8%.
In the tertiary industry, infrastructure investment (excluding electricity, heat, gas, and water production and supply) increased by 4.6% year-on-year. Among them, water transportation industry investment increased by 21.8%, water management industry investment increased by 15.4%, and railway transportation industry investment increased by 4.2%.
In terms of regions, investment in the eastern region decreased by 0.8% year-on-year, investment in the central region increased by 3.2%, investment in the western region increased by 4.8%, and investment in the northeastern region decreased by 1.9%.
In terms of types of registration, fixed asset investment of domestic enterprises increased by 2.8% year-on-year, fixed asset investment of enterprises from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan increased by 4.8%, and fixed asset investment of foreign-invested enterprises decreased by 13.6%.
