Tencent Games: Minors are restricted to playing games for no more than 27 hours during the summer vacation.

On July 3rd, Tencent Games launched the 2025 Summer Protection Special Action for Minors, releasing a Summer Calendar for minors to limit their gaming time. From July 1st to August 31st, underage players can experience games from 8pm to 9pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with a total gaming time not exceeding 27 hours during the entire holiday. The "NetEase Games 2025 Summer Limit Gaming Calendar" also shows that minors can play games for no more than 27 hours during the summer vacation, the same as Tencent Games. Tencent has upgraded its protection system for minors to a new model of "technology + service + public welfare," introducing the "Game Temporary Shutdown" feature. Parents can flexibly set the duration of each game, and if it exceeds the limit, the player will be automatically logged out. There is also the "Face Verification" feature, which can force a face recognition verification to prevent children from using their parents' accounts without permission. In addition, Tencent's growth guardianship program has introduced "Parent Service Live Streaming," where parents can receive customized guidance on how to control their children's gaming activities. They provide guidance on managing minors' gaming modes, helping parents transform "restrictions" into warm "guidance," and strictly adhere to the new national regulations on preventing gaming addiction, in order to build a comprehensive protection ecosystem for minors.
