Loongson officially released its new-generation general-purpose processor, Loongson 3C6000, in Beijing on June 26. The processor is fully developed using China’s domestic LoongArch instruction set, with no foreign technology or supply chain dependencies, and has received Level 2 certification under the "Security and Reliability Evaluation Bulletin."

On June 26, China's independently developed general-purpose processor, Loongson 3C6000, was officially released in Beijing. The Loongson 3C6000 adopts the domestically designed LoongArch instruction set, requiring no foreign technology licensing. As a fully domestically developed and controlled processor, it supports a broad range of computing needs including general-purpose computing, intelligent computing, storage, industrial control, and workstation applications.

The 3C6000 series has obtained the highest Level 2 certification under the "Security and Reliability Evaluation Bulletin," meeting the requirements for secure deployment in key application sectors. Experts noted that its performance aligns with mainstream processors on the market in 2023 or 2024. The processor is entirely based on China’s internal supply chain, from the instruction set to all integrated IP, without any dependence on overseas technologies or suppliers.

Loongson also released the 2K3000 and 3B6000 processors, which are likewise built on the LoongArch architecture. These are designed for intelligent terminals and industrial control, providing foundational technology support for applications such as artificial intelligence. At the LoongArch ecosystem showcase, a complete matrix of products — including general-purpose computing servers, storage, and industrial servers — built on Loongson processors were on display. According to Hu Weiwu, research fellow at the Institute of Computing Technology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and chief designer of Loongson, this new product line offers a balance of performance and cost-effectiveness. From Loongson’s perspective, this marks the beginning of entering open market competition and signals a turning point for China's information technology sector.
