From January to May, the total operating income of state-owned enterprises was 32.80625 trillion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.1%; the total profit of state-owned enterprises was 1.65145 trillion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.8%.
On June 27th, the Ministry of Finance released the economic performance of national state-owned and state-holding enterprises from January to May 2025.
From January to May, the total operating income of national state-owned and state-holding enterprises was 32,806.25 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.1%; the total profit of state-owned enterprises was 1,651.45 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.8%; state-owned enterprises paid a total of 2,470.16 billion yuan in taxes, a year-on-year decrease of 0.9%. By the end of May, the asset-liability ratio of state-owned enterprises was 65.1%, a year-on-year increase of 0.2 percentage points.
