On June 26, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on the implementation plan for promoting the standardization of green and low-carbon industries and information technology. The plan mentioned strengthening the leadership of standards in cultivating green and low-carbon industries. It also emphasized the revision of standards for industrial green microgrids, clean and low-carbon hydrogen applications in the industrial sector, efficient utilization of medium and low-temperature waste heat and energy, and long-life and high-safety energy storage batteries, as well as increasing the use of renewable energy and new energy in the industrial sector. The plan also aims to accelerate the improvement of standards systems in areas such as photovoltaics, new energy vehicles, green digital technology, green ships, green aviation, green power equipment, green light industry, and environmental protection equipment to support the cultivation of new green development momentum.
