On June 27th, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce answered questions from reporters regarding the China-US London framework. The spokesperson stated that under the guidance of the consensus reached by the leaders of China and the United States, the economic and trade teams of both sides held discussions in London on June 9th to 10th to implement the important consensus of the leaders' phone call on June 5th and the framework to consolidate the results of the Geneva economic and trade talks. After the London talks, the Chinese and American teams maintained close communication. Recently, with approval, both sides further confirmed the framework details. China will approve export applications for controlled items that meet the requirements. The US will correspondingly lift a series of restrictive measures against China. It is hoped that the US and China will move towards each other, further play a role in the China-US economic and trade negotiation mechanism in accordance with the important consensus and requirements of the leaders' phone call on June 5th, continuously enhance consensus, reduce misunderstandings, strengthen cooperation, and jointly promote the healthy, stable, and sustainable development of China-US economic and trade relations.
