UBS Group AG analysts on Thursday significantly raised the target price for Meta Platforms (META.US) from $683 to $812, stating that the company will benefit from the demand for artificial intelligence from consumers and advertisers. The investment bank said that this move is based on the long-term opportunities for the company to generate additional revenue from a variety of artificial intelligence products, especially in Business Messaging and Meta AI business.
UBS Group AG expressed confidence in Meta's ability to achieve its general artificial intelligence capital expenditure plan and believes that Meta can maintain a high growth trajectory in advertising revenue over a longer period of time. They also believe that Meta may not be affected by the risk of lower-than-expected corporate artificial intelligence spending, as the company is a major user of its own technology.
