On June 20, the Hong Kong dollar interbank interest rates generally decreased. The overnight rate slightly decreased to 0.01979%, and the one-month Hong Kong dollar interbank interest rate fell for the second consecutive day to 0.52845%, the lowest since June 17. The three-month interbank interest rate, reflecting the cost of bank funds, fell to 1.51464%, continuing to be the lowest since May 30. The six-month and one-year interbank interest rates were reported at 2.20899% and 2.96792% respectively, also the lowest since May 30.
