GRAND MING (01271) announced that on June 19, 2025, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Wellford Properties Holdings Limited (Wellford Properties), received an indicative letter of intent signed by a potential buyer on June 16, 2025, to discuss the potential acquisition of Joybase Development Limited (Joybase Development) and Golden Rich Limited (Golden Rich, together with Joybase Development, collectively referred to as the "target companies") (both companies are direct wholly-owned subsidiaries of Wellford Properties and also indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries of the company).
The target companies are limited companies registered in Hong Kong, mainly engaged in property development. As of the date of this announcement, they are both direct wholly-owned subsidiaries of Wellford Properties and indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries of the company.
After considering the Group's current financial position and strategic goals, the board of directors believes that if the potential transaction is realized, the net proceeds will help the Group reduce its overall debt and thereby improve the Group's financial position.
