China Construction Machinery Industry Association: In May, the sales of various types of tower cranes in the country totaled 292 units, a year-on-year decrease of 51.7%.

According to the China Construction Machinery Industry Association's statistics on the main manufacturing enterprises of tower cranes, in May 2025, a total of 538 tower cranes were sold, a decrease of 28.4% compared to the same month last year. Of these, 292 were sold domestically, a decrease of 51.7%, while 246 were exported, an increase of 67.3%. From January to May 2025, a total of 2334 tower cranes were sold, a decrease of 36.6% compared to the same period last year. Among these, 1278 were sold domestically, a decrease of 57.1%, while 1056 were exported, an increase of 51.1%. Flatbed Trucks According to the China Construction Machinery Industry Association's statistics on the main manufacturing enterprises of flatbed trucks, in May 2025, a total of 649 flatbed trucks were sold, a decrease of 3.28% compared to the same month last year. Of these, 112 were sold domestically, an increase of 31.8%, while 537 were exported, a decrease of 8.36%. From January to May 2025, a total of 3580 flatbed trucks were sold, an increase of 14.9% compared to the same period last year. Among these, 677 were sold domestically, an increase of 40.7%, while 2903 were exported, an increase of 10.1%. Mobile Cranes According to the China Construction Machinery Industry Association's statistics on the main manufacturing enterprises of mobile cranes, in May 2025, a total of 1748 mobile cranes were sold, a decrease of 8.1% compared to the same month last year. Of these, 978 were sold domestically, a decrease of 3.36%, while 770 were exported, a decrease of 13.5%. From January to May 2025, a total of 9103 mobile cranes were sold, a decrease of 8.94% compared to the same period last year. Among these, 5181 were sold domestically, a decrease of 13.8%, while 3922 were exported, a decrease of 1.61%. Crawler Cranes According to the China Construction Machinery Industry Association's statistics on the main manufacturing enterprises of crawler cranes, in May 2025, a total of 261 crawler cranes were sold, an increase of 31.8% compared to the same month last year. Among these, 56 were sold domestically, a decrease of 3.45%, while 205 were exported, an increase of 46.4%. From January to May 2025, a total of 1282 crawler cranes were sold, an increase of 5.25% compared to the same period last year. Among these, 402 were sold domestically, a decrease of 1.23%, while 880 were exported, an increase of 8.51%. Truck Cranes According to the China Construction Machinery Industry Association's statistics on the main manufacturing enterprises of truck cranes, in May 2025, a total of 1681 truck cranes were sold, a decrease of 20.3% compared to the same month last year. Of these, 1286 were sold domestically, a decrease of 27.5%, while 395 were exported, an increase of 18.6%. From January to May 2025, a total of 10695 truck cranes were sold, a decrease of 3.85% compared to the same period last year. Among these, 8535 were sold domestically, a decrease of 6.71%, while 2160 were exported, an increase of 9.42%. Industrial Vehicles According to the China Construction Machinery Industry Association's statistics on the main manufacturing enterprises of forklifts, in May 2025, a total of 123472 forklifts were sold, an increase of 11.8% compared to the same month last year. Of these, 79129 were sold domestically, an increase of 9.25%, while 44343 were exported, an increase of 16.6%. From January to May 2025, a total of 601764 forklifts were sold, an increase of 9.33% compared to the same period last year. Among these, 392490 were sold domestically, an increase of 6.66%, while 209274 were exported, an increase of 14.7%. In May 2025, a total of 52228 forklifts, excluding electric pedestrian storage vehicles, were sold, an increase of 10.41% compared to the same month last year. Of these, 35662 were sold domestically, an increase of 9.93%, while 16566 were exported, an increase of 11.46%. Road Rollers According to the China Construction Machinery Industry Association's statistics on the main manufacturing enterprises of road rollers, in May 2025, a total of 1589 road rollers were sold, an increase of 17% compared to the same month last year. Of these, 577 were sold domestically, an increase of 6.07%, while 1012 were exported, an increase of 24.3%. From January to May 2025, a total of 7772 road rollers were sold, an increase of 23.7% compared to the same period last year. Among these, 2905 were sold domestically, an increase of 10.8%, while 4867 were exported, an increase of 32.9%. Pavers According to the China Construction Machinery Industry Association's statistics on the main manufacturing enterprises of pavers, in May 2025, a total of 149 pavers were sold, an increase of 30.7% compared to the same month last year. Of these, 107 were sold domestically, an increase of 33.8%, while 42 were exported, an increase of 23.5%. From January to May 2025, a total of 708 pavers were sold, an increase of 31.4% compared to the same period last year. Among these, 521 were sold domestically, an increase of 32.2%, while 187 were exported, an increase of 29%. Elevating Work Platforms According to the China Construction Machinery Industry Association's statistics on the main manufacturing enterprises of elevating work platforms, in May 2025, a total of 15653 elevating work platforms were sold, a decrease of 26.2% compared to the same month last year. Of these, 5284 were sold domestically, a decrease of 48.1%, while 10369 were exported, a decrease of 5.8%. From January to May 2025, a total of 74533 elevating work platforms were sold, a decrease of 33.5% compared to the same period last year. Among these, 29191 were sold domestically, a decrease of 48.3%, while 45342 were exported, a decrease of 18.4%. Aerial Work Platforms According to the China Construction Machinery Industry Association's statistics on the main manufacturing enterprises of aerial work platforms, in May 2025, a total of 296 aerial work platforms were sold, a decrease of 33.3% compared to the same month last year. Of these, 286 were sold domestically, a decrease of 34.1%, while 10 were exported, remaining the same as the previous year. From January to May 2025, a total of 1906 aerial work platforms were sold, an increase of 12.2% compared to the same period last year. Among these, 1803 were sold domestically, an increase of 9.74%, while 103 were exported, an increase of 87.3%.
