In May, the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Index in the eastern, central, western, and northeastern regions of China were 90.5, 90.3, 88.7, and 81.8 respectively. The indices in the eastern, central, and northeastern regions increased by 0.3, 0.8, and 0.6 points respectively compared to the previous month, while the index in the western region slightly decreased by 0.1 point.
