Chip sector rises, as of the time of writing, AMD has increased by more than 4%.
On Monday, the chip sector saw gains, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rising over 2.4% as of the time of writing. AMD rose over 4%, Micron Technology, Inc. rose over 2.7%, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Sponsored ADR rose over 1.7%, and NVIDIA Corporation rose nearly 2%. Citigroup analyst Christopher Danely maintained a "hold" rating on AMD with a target price of $120.
