On May 20th, Ling Ji, Deputy Minister of Commerce and Deputy Representative for International Trade Negotiations, met with a delegation of representatives from 48 British group organizations in China. Ling Ji stated that China is accelerating the construction of a unified national market, with continuously increasing consumer potential and stable economic development. In recent years, China-UK economic and trade relations have maintained healthy development, with both countries upholding free trade, opposing unilateralism and protectionism, and firmly safeguarding the multilateral trading system, which will enhance global trade stability and predictability.
