The Chief Statistician of the Urban Department of the National Bureau of Statistics, Wang Zhonghua, interprets the statistical data on changes in the selling prices of residential properties in April 2025. Wang Zhonghua stated that in April, in 70 large and medium-sized cities, the selling prices of residential properties in various tier cities remained stable or slightly decreased compared to the previous month, with the year-on-year decline continuing to narrow. The selling prices of newly-built residential properties in first-tier cities remained stable compared to the previous month, while the prices of second-hand residential properties in first-tier cities decreased by 0.2% compared to the previous month.
