HAOHAI BIOTEC(06826): Zhao Lei is expected to resign as an independent non-executive director.

HAOHAI BIOTEC (06826) announced that the board of directors will hold a meeting on May 9, 2025, and proposed to re-elect Dr. Hou Yongtai, Mr. Wu Jianying, Ms. Chen Yiyi, Mr. Tang Minjie, Ms. You Jie, and Mr. Huang Ming as non-independent non-executive directors of the sixth board of directors (including executive directors and non-executive directors, but not independent non-executive directors and employee representative directors); and proposed to re-elect Mr. Jiang Zhihong, Mr. Shen Hongbo, Mr. Su Zhi, and Mr. Yang Yushe as independent non-executive directors of the sixth board of directors. The above proposals need to be approved by the shareholders of the company at the upcoming 2024 annual general meeting through an ordinary resolution. Mr. Zhao Lei, an independent non-executive director of the company, will not be re-elected to the board of directors for personal reasons, so Mr. Zhao will retire from his positions as a director, chairman of the nomination committee, and member of the audit committee and remuneration and assessment committee on the date the sixth board of directors is elected at the annual general meeting.
