According to statistics from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, in March 2025, the total trading volume in China's foreign exchange market (excluding foreign exchange market, the same below) reached 26.99 trillion yuan (equivalent to 3.76 trillion US dollars). Among them, the interbank market trading volume with customers was 3.77 trillion yuan (equivalent to 0.53 trillion US dollars), and the interbank market trading volume was 23.21 trillion yuan (equivalent to 3.24 trillion US dollars); the spot market accumulated a trading volume of 9.50 trillion yuan (equivalent to 1.32 trillion US dollars), and the derivative market accumulated a trading volume of 17.49 trillion yuan (equivalent to 2.44 trillion US dollars).
From January to March 2025, the total trading volume in China's foreign exchange market reached 71.23 trillion yuan (equivalent to 9.93 trillion US dollars).
