According to the monitoring and summary data of the Office of the Leading Group for the Logistics Security and Smoothness of the State Council, from April 14th to April 20th, the national freight logistics operated orderly, including: the national railways transported a total of 75.612 million tons of goods, a decrease of 1.66% compared to the previous period; the total number of trucks passing on national highways reached 55.503 million vehicles, an increase of 2.47% compared to the previous period.
The monitored ports completed a total cargo throughput of 261.492 million tons, an increase of 7.17% compared to the previous period, with a container throughput of 6.297 million TEUs, an increase of 6.01% compared to the previous period; civil aviation ensured a total of 123,000 flights (including 4,904 cargo flights, including 3,287 international cargo flights and 1,617 domestic cargo flights), an increase of 2.97% compared to the previous period; postal express services collected about 3.95 billion items, an increase of 3.59% compared to the previous period; and a total delivery volume of about 3.932 billion items, an increase of 5.02% compared to the previous period.
