A congressional trading form submitted by Georgia state congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene disclosed that she bought several stocks including CrowdStrike (CRWD.US) and Tesla, Inc. (TSLA.US) in a recent market sell-off.
The form showed that the Republican purchased shares of cybersecurity company CrowdStrike on March 7, valued between $1,001 and $15,000.
She also bought shares of Dollar General Corporation (DG.US), Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (GS.US), ultrahigh-frequency RFID solutions provider Impinj (PI.US), Tesla, Inc., and iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), with each transaction valued between $1,001 and $15,000.
It is understood that Greene bought several tech stocks last month including Palantir (PLTR.US) and Apple Inc. (AAPL.US).
Greene is the chair of the House Committee on Government Efficiency. As an important figure in the Republican far-right, Greene has been controversial for her extremist rhetoric. However, with Trump back in the White House, she has moved away from the fringes and into the core of Republican politics.
