CITIC SEC (06030) provides guarantee for two promissory notes issued by CS MTN totaling 1.25 billion yuan under a commercial bill program.

CITIC SEC (06030) announced that its overseas wholly-owned subsidiary, CITIC SEC International's affiliate company CS MTN, established a maximum principal amount of 3 billion US dollars (or the equivalent in other currencies) European Commercial Paper Plan on May 12, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the Commercial Paper Plan), guaranteed by the company. CS MTN issued two notes under the Commercial Paper Plan on March 7, 2025, with a total issuance amount of 1.25 billion RMB. After this issuance, the total outstanding principal balance of notes issued by CS MTN under the Commercial Paper Plan is 568 million US dollars. CITIC SEC International's affiliate company CSI MTN established a maximum principal amount of 3 billion US dollars (or the equivalent in other currencies) offshore Medium-Term Note Plan (hereinafter referred to as the MTN Plan) on March 29, 2022, guaranteed by CITIC SEC International. CSI MTN issued three notes under the MTN Plan on March 7, 2025, with a total issuance amount of 58.60 million US dollars. After this issuance, the total outstanding principal balance of notes issued by CSI MTN under the MTN Plan is 2.633 billion US dollars.
