China Shenhua Energy (01088) subsidiary completes the filing of the start of construction of Xinjie Well 1 and Xinjie Well 2 projects in Xingjia Village, New Street, Inner Mongolia.

China Shenhua Energy (01088) announced that its subsidiary, Shenhua Xinjie Energy Co., Ltd. ("Xinjie Energy Company"), in which the company holds a 60% stake, has received the approval notice for the commencement of the construction of Xinjie One Well and Coal Washing Plant Project, as well as Xinjie Two Well and Coal Washing Plant Project in Xinjie Taigemiao Mining Area, Ejinhoro Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, from the Energy Bureau of Ejinhoro Banner. According to the notice, the project approval documents and information of the construction and supervision units submitted by Xinjie Energy Company are complete and will be recorded. From now on, Xinjie Energy Company will lawfully and orderly promote the construction work of Xinjie One Well and Xinjie Two Well projects. The company will fulfill its obligations of disclosing relevant information of the projects in accordance with the requirements of securities regulations.
