Oil and gas giant Shell (SHEL.US) has announced that the company is making further adjustments to its executive committee, with Zoe Yujnovich, responsible for integrated gas and upstream business, resigning at the end of this month. It is worth mentioning that Shell plans to unveil its latest strategy for 2025 and beyond to investors in New York on March 25. In a statement on Tuesday, Shell announced that Cederic Cremers has been appointed as the President of Integrated Gas Business, and Peter Costello will serve as the President of Upstream Business, both joining the executive committee. These appointments will take effect from April 1. Cederic Cremers was appointed as the Executive Vice President of Shell's LNG division in 2021, and has held a series of roles in various departments and countries since joining Shell in 2002. Peter Costello was appointed as the Executive Vice President of Shell's conventional oil and gas business in 2021, and joined Shell after the merger with BG Group in 2016, also holding multiple roles in various countries. This is the second personnel change in Shell's executive committee this year. In January, Shell announced the appointment of Andrew Smith as the head of trading and supply department, elevating him to the executive committee. This highlights the increasing importance of this department to the oil and gas giant. In addition, Machteld de Haan has also been promoted to the executive committee, responsible for downstream, renewable energy, and energy solutions.
