On the news front, a research report from CITIC SEC pointed out that since 2024, leading battery factories, vehicle factories, and experts and scholars have gradually converged their expectations for the installation pace of solid-state batteries, with small batches/demonstration models expected to be installed by 2027 and large-scale production by 2030. The installation nodes are clear, and the bank believes that the market will also gradually converge on consensus, with a clear technical roadmap, lithium battery equipment leading the way, and opening up new demand for lithium resources. In conjunction with the significant catalyzing effect of the solid-state battery industry in 2025, the bank believes that 2025 will be an important year for the mature products of semi-solid-state batteries and the gradual ramp-up of production, as well as the gradual clarity and convergence of the full solid-state technology roadmap, and recommends seizing investment opportunities in related industry chains. It is reported that Jiangsu Lopal Tech. previously stated that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sanjin Lithium Battery, focuses on the development of solid-state battery precursors, and has already completed the first phase of 5,000 tons of production capacity. In addition, Jiangsu Lopal Tech. recently announced that, in order to actively expand overseas markets, enhance the company's market competitiveness and overseas influence in the field of lithium battery materials, its Level Three controlling subsidiary, Lithium Source Indonesia, plans to introduce LG New Energy as a strategic investor through an increase in capital and shares. After the transaction is completed, LG New Energy will acquire a 20% stake in Lithium Source Indonesia.
