Jiangsu Huaxin New Material (300717.SZ) has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangsu Huaxin High-Tech Materials Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Huaxin High-Tech"), plans to invest in the construction of a "5000 tons per year functional film material project", with an estimated total investment of 80 million yuan.
The project is planned to be located in the East Factory Area of Zhujiang Road, Xinyi City, Jiangsu Province. The project will include the construction of 2 fully automatic production lines for functional film materials, as well as supporting facilities such as inspection, power distribution, and clean rooms, to achieve an annual production capacity of 5000 tons of functional film materials. The construction period is estimated to be 18 months.
It is reported that the construction of the project will further enrich the company's process technology, enhance new product R&D and production capabilities, and expand the application areas of the products.
