On February 25th, the Hurun Research Institute released the "2024 Hurun China Top 500" list, listing the top 500 non-state-owned enterprises in China according to their enterprise value. This is the sixth consecutive year that the Hurun Research Institute has released the "Hurun China Top 500". The companies in Hefei that made the list include: Sungrow Power Supply (300274.SZ), Iflytek Co.,ltd. (002230.SZ), Ching Sing Semiconductor, Gotion High-tech (002074.SZ), and CENTRAL NEW EGY (01735). The number of companies on the list ranks Hefei 16th along with Taizhou, Wenzhou, Shaoxing, Wuxi, and Jiaxing among all cities in China. Sungrow Power Supply ranks first in the photovoltaic industry with a market value of 186 billion, as a global leader in photovoltaic inverters with overseas revenue exceeding 30 billion; Iflytek Co.,ltd. has a market value of 123 billion, specializing in intelligent speech and AI technology with research and development investment exceeding 20% in 2023, widely applied in education and medical fields; Ching Sing Semiconductor has a market value of 52 billion, as a rising star in Hefei's semiconductor industry, focusing on the manufacturing of DRAM chips to fill the gap in domestic storage chips; Gotion High-tech has a market value of 42 billion, ranking top five in the global power battery market share, with overseas revenue growth exceeding 50% in 2023 and deep cooperation with Volkswagen Group; CENTRAL NEW EGY made its first appearance on the list in 2024, this new energy company, once regarded as a dark horse in the industry, has a valuation of 32 billion and shows strong momentum in the first tier of battery specialized enterprises from the perspective of technological innovation and product quality. Among the five companies, Sungrow Power Supply, Gotion High-tech, and CENTRAL NEW EGY are all in the photovoltaic industry. Despite the market competition and internal pressures in the photovoltaic industry, these companies still demonstrate strong operational capabilities and good development trends, indicating promising growth prospects and potential for expansion in the future. With the increasing global demand for renewable energy, the photovoltaic industry will continue to maintain rapid development.
