BOC Aviation (02588) announced that on February 21, 2025, its wholly-owned subsidiary BOC Aviation (Cayman) Limited has entered into an agreement to purchase five Boeing 737-8 aircraft from The Boeing Company. On the same day, the company also entered into a long-term lease agreement with Arajet S.A. for the same aircraft. This transaction constitutes a qualified aircraft leasing activity for the company.
It is reported that the five Boeing 737-8 aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2026 and 2027.
