Among them, the railway passenger volume was 510 million person-times, an increase of 6.1% year-on-year; the road traffic volume was 8.39 billion person-times, an increase of 7.2% year-on-year (including 7.17 billion person-times of self-driving trips, accounting for 79.4% of the total cross-regional passenger flow in the whole society, and 1.22 billion person-times of commercial road passenger traffic); the waterway passenger volume was 31.21 million person-times, an increase of 7.6% year-on-year; and the civil aviation passenger volume was 90.2 million person-times, an increase of 7.4% year-on-year.
On February 22, 2025 (the 40th day of the Spring Festival travel period, the twenty-fifth day of the Lunar New Year, a Saturday), the total cross-regional passenger flow in the whole society was 185.303 million person-times, a decrease of 1.9% compared to the previous day, but an increase of 15.4% compared to the same period in 2024 (a Tuesday).
The railway passenger volume was 13.882 million person-times (Saturday, with students returning to school), an increase of 17.1% on a daily basis and 79.2% compared to the same period in 2024.
The road traffic volume (including non-commercial small car passenger trips on highways and ordinary national and provincial roads, and commercial road passenger traffic) was 168.06 million person-times, a decrease of 3.2% compared to the previous day, but an increase of 11.9% compared to the same period in 2024. Among them, the commercial road passenger traffic volume was 33.66 million person-times, an increase of 1.1% compared to the previous day, and 5.8% compared to the same period in 2024; the non-commercial small car passenger trips on highways and ordinary national and provincial roads was 134.94 million person-times, a decrease of 4.2% compared to the previous day, and an increase of 13.5% compared to the same period in 2024.
The waterway passenger volume was 711,000 person-times, an increase of 22.7% compared to the previous day, and an increase of 42.3% compared to the same period in 2024.
The civil aviation passenger volume was 2.1102 million person-times, a decrease of 5.1% compared to the previous day, and an increase of 24.22% compared to the same period in 2024.
