MARKETINGFORCE (02556) rose more than 10% in the afternoon, after falling over 4% in the morning. As of the time of writing, it was up 6.78% at HK$72.45 with a turnover of HK$6.5 billion.
In terms of news, MARKETINGFORCE announced a placement of up to 20.1058 million shares, representing around 7.85% of the enlarged share capital, at a price of HK$60 per share, a discount of about 11.57% from the closing price of HK$67.85 on February 20. The company expects to raise approximately HK$1.202 billion from the placement, with around 40% intended for the development and commercialization of AI intelligent body applications; around 20% for investing in and acquiring leading companies in domestic and international niche sectors to supplement technical capabilities, product portfolios, and vertical industry expertise; around 10% for global expansion, especially to support overseas product development and the construction of overseas commercialization channels; and around 30% for supplementing working capital and general corporate purposes.
A recent research report from Zheshang pointed out that as a leading domestic sales SaaS company, MARKETINGFORCE has a well-rounded and rapidly growing SaaS business matrix. Multiple factors are driving the growth of the enterprise SaaS market, and the demand for intelligent solutions by small and micro enterprises is expected to open up a trillion-dollar space. The commercialization of AI large models is accelerating, creating a broad market space for marketing content generation, AI customer service, and other scenarios. The bank's calculations suggest that the market size for AI marketing video content in domestic small and medium-sized enterprises is expected to exceed one trillion. In addition, the company is actively deploying AI large model applications to build an intelligent body center to empower SaaS products.
