Citibank: BYD ELECTRONIC (00285), Will Semiconductor (603501.SH), and SUNNY OPTICAL (02382) will be the main beneficiaries of the ADAS/intelligent vehicle trend.
Citibank believes that Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) combined with autonomous driving will become a key investment theme starting this year.
Citi released a research report stating that BYD COMPANY (01211) officially announced the launch of the advanced intelligent driving system "Eye of the Sky" at the smart strategy conference, which had a positive impact on its main supply chain. Citi believes that BYD ELECTRONIC (00285) will be the main beneficiary, followed by Will Semiconductor (603501.SH) and SUNNY OPTICAL (02382).
Citi believes that advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) combined with autonomous driving will become a key investment theme starting this year. As ADAS penetrates into vehicles priced below 100,000 RMB, BYD ELECTRONIC's automotive business is expected to see a 3% and 5% increase in revenue in the next two years compared to previous forecasts. However, the recent increase in stock price may have already reflected most of these expectations. Will Semiconductor and SUNNY OPTICAL will also benefit from the increasing penetration of ADAS in the overall automotive market, as both companies generate about 30% to 40% of their profits from this area.
