Changes in members of the Hang Seng Index Advisory Committee, Pang Baolin and Guan Yongsheng resign.

On February 7, Hang Seng Index Company Limited announced changes to the Hang Seng Index Advisory Committee, and the changes have taken effect. Pang Baolin and Guan Yongsheng, who have made outstanding contributions to the committee over the years, have stepped down from their positions on the committee.
Raymond Lui has been appointed as a member of the Advisory Committee. Lui is currently a non-executive director of the Financial Reporting Council. Previously, he was an executive director of the Market Surveillance Division of the Securities and Futures Commission. During his time at the SFC, Lui was the Chairman of the Investor Compensation Fund Committee and the Securities Compensation Fund Committee, and a member of the Consultation Panel of the SFC, the Investment Committee of the SFC, the Risk Management Committee of the SFC (HKEX Listing), and the Risk Management Committee of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited. Lui has worked in various financial institutions in the United States and Hong Kong, specializing in deposit lending, asset management, and investment banking.
Eric Yim has been appointed as a member of the Advisory Committee. Yim has over 27 years of experience in the fund management industry and is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Sunny Asset Management Limited. Before joining Sunny Asset Management, Yim worked at Value Partners, Manulife Asset Management (Hong Kong), and Altamira Investment Services Inc. (Canada). Yim has served as a member of the Public Shareholders' Rights Group of the Securities and Futures Commission and as the Chairman of the China Committee of the Alternative Investment Management Association Hong Kong Chapter. Yim has also been a member of the Green Finance Working Group of the Hong Kong Financial Development Bureau under the Greater Bay Area Initiative since 2021, and has been a member of the Human Resources Group of the Bureau.
The Advisory Committee is an independent advisory organization consisting of 13 members, including 10 professionals from universities, institutional investors, and investment advisory companies.
