Wu Li has left China Merchants Bank International to join BNP Paribas in Paris as the Market Manager of the Wealth Management Department.

According to media reports, Wu Li (Alexis Wu) has left China Merchants Bank International and taken on the role of Market Head of Wealth Management at BNP Paribas in France. She will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Lemuel Lee, Head of Wealth Management in Hong Kong.
Alexis holds a Bachelor's degree in International Accounting from Peking University Guanghua Management School, and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Victoria in Canada. In 2015, Alexis joined China Merchants Bank International (CMBI) as Managing Director and Co-Head of Wealth Management, leading the Asian team including China, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Prior to that, she worked as Executive Director of RBC Wealth Management at Royal Bank of Canada. In the early stages of her career, she specialized in mergers and acquisitions consulting, government relations, and corporate strategy.
Before joining China Merchants Bank International, Alexis served as Director at Royal Bank of Canada, focusing on developing high net worth clients and leading their wealth management business in China. She also worked as Executive Director at Wall Street boutique investment bank Perella Weinberg Partners, specializing in mergers and acquisitions consulting and asset management, and was responsible for the business development in China. In her early career, Alexis held multiple positions at companies in France such as Industrial Bank and Andersens.
