On February 7th, LENOVO GROUP rose more than 9% in early trading, with the stock price reaching 12.56 Hong Kong dollars, hitting a historical high and continuing its strong performance for five consecutive days.
On the news front, on February 5th, LENOVO GROUP and Muxi Shares jointly released an all-in-one machine solution based on the DeepSeek large model. This solution, with "Lenovo Server/Workstation + Muxi Training One GPU + Self-developed Algorithm" as the core architecture, combined with the Lenovo AI force intelligent body development platform, launched the intelligent body all-in-one machine and training one server in two product forms, leading to the full coverage of the entire chain from training large models with billions of parameters to landing scene-based reasoning.
In addition, LENOVO GROUP's personal intelligent body "Xiaotian" has been integrated with DeepSeek to bring users a more intelligent and convenient AI interactive experience. "Xiaotian" is the first end-side personal intelligent body released by Lenovo in April last year, which was first embedded in Lenovo's AIPC and has now expanded to Lenovo's AI mobile phones, AI tablets and other AI terminals.
Currently, "Xiaotian" has been integrated with more than 1600 AI applications, including mainstream apps such as Kimi, Wenzin Yiyan, NetEase Youdao Translation, Xunfei Listening, MiniMax, Tencent Video, Meitu AI, as well as a large number of AI applications in various fields such as medical, legal, and education. By integrating DeepSeek, the personal intelligent body "Xiaotian" has advanced natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning technologies, which will further enhance its AI capabilities in language processing in professional fields, code generation and programming, mathematical reasoning, multimodal processing, etc. Currently, users can click on the DeepSeek experience in the AI Space interface of the personal intelligent body "Xiaotian".
As a pioneer and leader in the AI PC field, LENOVO GROUP was the first to launch and sell multiple AI terminal products. Market views generally believe that benefiting from the growth beyond the market in the PC field, as well as the continuous increase in AI PC penetration rate and popularity, AI PCs accounted for 14% of China's PC shipments in the second quarter of FY2024/25, with the group (IDG) business income for the first half of the fiscal year showing a year-on-year growth of 14.5% for intelligent devices.
Morgan Stanley released a research report, resuming its "overweight" rating on LENOVO GROUP with a target price of 13.8 Hong Kong dollars. The bank believes that with the improvement in demand for PCs and servers, there is upward potential in the market's general expectation for Lenovo's performance in the third quarter of FY2025. The bank expects third-quarter revenue to exceed Wall Street's general expectations by 4%, and net profit to exceed expectations by 9%. In addition, the bank expects total revenue in the fourth quarter to grow by 15.5% year-on-year, to around 16 billion US dollars. Furthermore, Lenovo's acquisition of Infinidat is a progressive positive development, helping to strengthen its storage product portfolio. This transaction is part of Lenovo's growth strategy, aimed at bringing differentiated technological solutions to the market.
