CITIC (00267) subsidiary Citic Heavy Industries (601608.SH) issued an announcement that the board of directors of the company recently received a resignation letter from director Yu Zhiyuan. Due to work adjustments, Yu Zhiyuan applied to resign from the positions of company director, member of the Strategic and Sustainable Development Committee, and member of the Remuneration and Assessment Committee. As of the date of this announcement, Yu Zhiyuan does not hold any shares in the company.
On January 23, 2025, the company held the eighth meeting of the sixth board of directors to review and approve the "Proposal on Supplementing the Company's Directors". Upon recommendation by the company's controlling shareholder China CITIC Limited, and after qualification review by the company's Board Nominating Committee, Yang Wenxin was approved as a candidate for non-independent director of the sixth board of directors. The term of office will start from the date of approval by the shareholders' meeting and continue until the end of the term of office of the sixth board of directors.
