Yesterday, Trump was formally sworn in as the 47th President of the United States at the inauguration ceremony in Washington, D.C.
Trump announced that he would sign a series of executive orders, including declaring a national emergency at the southern border and sending troops to defend against the so-called "catastrophic invasion" of illegal immigrants; declaring a national energy emergency and increasing traditional energy production, ending the Biden administration's "green new deal," revoking electric vehicle incentives to save the traditional American automotive industry; establishing a foreign tax office to impose tariffs on imported products; renaming the "Gulf of Mexico" to the "American Gulf"; expanding U.S. territory, raising the American flag on new horizons; and sending American astronauts to Mars, among other things.
