On Tuesday, the stock price of the Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT.US) fell, dropping by over 11% to $35.38 per share as of the time of writing, with a market value falling to $7.7 billion. Yesterday, Trump was formally sworn in as the 47th President of the United States at the inauguration ceremony in Washington, D.C. Trump announced that he would sign a series of executive orders, including declaring a national emergency at the southern border and sending troops to defend against the so-called "catastrophic invasion" of illegal immigrants; declaring a national energy emergency and increasing traditional energy production, ending the Biden administration's "green new deal," revoking electric vehicle incentives to save the traditional American automotive industry; establishing a foreign tax office to impose tariffs on imported products; renaming the "Gulf of Mexico" to the "American Gulf"; expanding U.S. territory, raising the American flag on new horizons; and sending American astronauts to Mars, among other things.
