Tianjin Tianyao Pharmaceuticals (600488.SH) announced that its subsidiary Jin Yao Heping (Tianjin) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ("Jin Yao Heping") has received the Drug Registration Certificate for the approval and issuance of formoterol fumarate inhalation solution from the National Medical Products Administration. It is reported that formoterol fumarate inhalation solution is suitable for the maintenance treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), primarily used for chronic bronchitis and emphysema, and can produce long-lasting anti-asthmatic effects. Up to now, Jin Yao Heping has accumulated research and development expenses of approximately 3.97 million yuan for the formoterol fumarate inhalation solution project.
